Wonderful beginning for the day. My day started with a walk through a drizzle to the bus stand "wow" I felt great .This doesn't happen often. Laila(cyclone) has brought cheers to few places and chaos to many. In my life it had a pleasant effect as it changed the climate of Bangalore, to be felt like a paradise.
Andhra Pradesh has been effected by this Laila. Many trains and even flights were cancelled because of the damage caused to the Railway line and poor visibility. It has completely cutoff Chennai from other parts of India. Nice to have rains in summer but when it becomes a problem to our daily routines then it's a problem.

Paradise Lost OOTY
The government has no control over the influx of the tourists nor they are interested in providing infrastructure facilities. Currently, during the peak season time there is a road project going on near the main bus stop. This add to the chaos that already prevails. Commuting in the area around racecourse, market, Charingcross and the arterial roads have become a nightmare.
Though there are police all around the place manning the traffic, lack of infrastructure and sometimes irresponsible tourists add to the chaos. Ooty doesn't allow much scope for development. Authorities should come up with solid plans to achieve a strategy from the lessons learnt now. Limiting the number of tourists and adopting more affordable public transport system would help the situation.
Paradise lost can be brought back to its past glory if only the people and the government act together or it will be lost forever.
